Description: Directs the nursing care of SCI and/or TBI patients; coordinates and collaborates with interdisciplinary team; coordinates the specific needs of the adolescent, adult and geriatric patient; accountable for responsibilities related to nursing practice for all nursing team members; provides leadership for quality and cost effectiveness of care at the team level.

Requirements: 1. Education – Graduate of a CCNE or NLNAC accredited school of nursing (preferred) 2. Education – Graduate of a nursing program from an accredited college or university required 3. Experience – None required 4. Current Colorado RN License 5. Current CPR certification- American Heart Association
Skills: 1. Sets appropriate priorities for acute med-surg and rehabilitation patient care needs. 2. Delegates nursing care to a diverse work force. 3. Promotes team effort and cooperation. 4. Documents legibly, clearly, and concisely. 5. Organizes work while responding to changing demands.
Abilities: 1. Gathers, collates, or classifies information about data, people, or things. Reports and/or carries out a prescribed action in relation to the information is frequently involved. 2. Talks with and/or signals people to convey or exchange information. Includes giving assignments and/or directions to rehabilitation techs. 3. Uses body, tools, or special devices to work, move guide, or place objects or materials. Involves some latitude for judgment with regard to precision attained and selecting appropriate tool, object, or material.
Schedule: Evenings: Part-Time; 2-East (24 hrs/week) Evenings: Full-Time Float Position Nights: Full-Time and Part-Time Nights: Part-Time and Full-Time Float Positions and Per-Diem |
